When You Train with Us, You are Training to Achieve.

When you walk into our studios you may feel like something doesn’t look right. There are no signs of wall to wall treadmills, vibro-plates or ski machines.

In fact there is very little in the way of standard CV equipment.

We have an area set aside specifically as a CV and flexibility zone, but this area has been lowest on our priority list.

Why?

Whilst cardiovascular training has its benefits, it does not promote the results that people believe. The common conception is, do cardio to burn fat. But that is far from the case.

Cardiovascular training may be a useful tool for some people to add to their fat loss results, but if you really want to achieve a change then our main gym area is where that will happen.

Your body is always going to react to the stimulus you give it. Tear down a muscle through lifting weights and those muscle fibers will repair stronger than before. So if you give your body a workout that primarily uses fat as it’s fuel source (as in steady state cardio) you are simply telling your body that it needs to store fat to fuel the next workout.

Try 10mins here and then tell me you can get as good a workout with a treadmill

If you really want a workout that will not only power up your metabolism, but also tell your body to hang on to your muscle tissue and torch off the fat, then come and spend 10mins with our prowler or drag sled and then tell us you can get the same level of workout with a treadmill.

Work through some power exercises in our delux power cage and come back the next day as to whether you could have obtained the same stimulus on a wave machine.

Training in our facility is not as easy as sitting down and pressing a button. You will be working and working hard at that. But you will be creating an internal environment that causes positive change.

And the thing that really makes this work is, being in an open unit with limited members will allow you to get the highest level of feedback whenever you need it.

The gym is big enough to get a fantastic workout, but remains intimate enough to ensure you can have hands on support whenever it is required.

Our equipment and set up has been put together to allow you to push your limits and obtain results you never thought possible.
